First and foremost, I am a Christian. Many of my blog posts will be from a Christian standpoint. Some of my posts will be political and some of it will be personal. I might even post pictures or videos of what is going on in my life at the moment. I probably won't post every day, but when I do, it will be real to who I am.

Coming out of the closet (not ashamed)
I know what you are thinking. Years ago, homosexuals were taught to be ashamed of their lifestyle. These days, they are praised for "coming out of the closet." These days, Christians are taught that their walk with Christ is supposed to be private. "It's okay as long as you keep it to yourself. We don't want to hear about it." Many people call that a closet Christian. Homosexuals are not ashamed of their sin anymore, so why should we be ashamed of our salvation? I say we shouldn't. It's time Christians "come out of the closet" and start proclaiming the name of Jesus openly. When you are at the mall, Walmart, restaurants, ect. It's necessary for us to show everyone the truth about who we are. Romans 1:16 says, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." It's time for us to stop being ashamed.
